The student/teacher plotline has always been very prominent on adult sites. It is also one of the most contested and problematic plotlines. However, it still remains on porn sites, despite its issues. 

There are multiple arguments as to why student/teacher porn is problematic. One of the most known arguments is that it ‘can encourage pedophilia’. Some argue that this type of content can normalize this ‘fantasy’ and eventually lead to it being acted on. However, this is not my focus for this article because there is another aspect to this topic which isn’t discussed as publicly. 

I want to focus on another side to this discussion that is for some reason rarely spoken about in the media. And that is, the effects that this porn has on young porn viewers who are consuming it, making them more likely to walk towards and not recognise abuse.
